5 & 6 Year Old Hoops Pee Wee Program
This program is available to all boys and girls ages 5 and 6 (must turn 5 and not 7 on or before January 1, 2012). Focus will be on learning the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and sportsmanship. Teams will practice for 30 minutes and then play a 30-minute game. Teams will consist of 6 to 8 players, play on an 8 foot goal, 4 players versus 4 players. Each player will receive a t-shirt. The coaches will officiate the games and no score will be kept. Registration deadline is September 30. Coaches' meeting will be held on Thursday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Betty Queen Center. Late registrations will only be accepted if teams are short of players and shirts have not been ordered. There will be a $10 late fee for any and all registrations received after September 30.
