Aikido in Louisa
Attention all youth ages 6 through 12! Want to get fit while learning an effective yet nonviolent martial arts form? Aikido will focus on self-defense without injury, conflict resolution, and personal awareness. Participation involves good exercise, testing your own limits, managing stress, and learning new ways to think and move...all while having a good time! These classes will provide an introduction to this traditional Japanese martial arts form and the Japanese culture. Jeff Martin, who holds the rank of Nidan and has over 11 years of experience in Aikido, is the instructor. Don’t miss this chance to join Louisa’s fastest growing martial arts program! For adult lessons in Aikido, look under the "A Healthier You!" section. Aikido is an on-going program which will continue throughout the year. Visit their website at www.AikidoinLouisa.com.
