Boating Safety Education
All personal watercraft operators regardless of age and boat operators 30 and under must have successfully completed an approved safe boating course by July 1, 2012. The VDGIF, in conjunction with LCPR, will be offering this FREE safe boating course at the Betty Queen Center on April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, and October 13. The course will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude around 5:00 p.m. To register for any of these class dates or to obtain additional information you must contact Dave Aitken at (540) 894-0441 or e-mail aitkendk@aol.com. Preregistration is required and class size is limited.
