Carnifax Fund
Created by caring Louisa County citizens to honor John Carnifax, former director of Louisa County Parks and Recreation and current director for James City County Parks and Recreation Department. Tax deductible donations may be mailed to Louisa County Parks and Recreation at Post Office Box 864, Louisa, VA 23093. The Carnifax Fund will assist youth whose parents are unable to afford certain activities sponsored by our department. If you believe you are in need of this service, please call our office for more information or stop by to fill out the necessary paperwork (must bring proof of income). We believe in the fundamental right of all citizens to have affordable recreation, fitness awareness, and family oriented programming.
