First Fridays in Louisa

First Fridays in Louisa is a special concert series held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Walton Park on the first Friday of the summer months. Presented by the County of Louisa, First Fridays gives everyone a chance to unwind from the work week with a live band playing old Motown, Beach and other dance music. There’s plenty of room for children to run and play, a moon bounce, food vendors and a beer garden hosted by the Mineral Fire Department Auxiliary for those adults over 21 (bring your ID). Minimal admission fee for anyone 6 years of age and older. So grab a lawn chair, your family and friends, and head on over to Walton Park (corner of 4th Street and Louisa Avenue in Mineral) for an evening of music and fun at First Fridays! Dates will be June 7th, July 5th, and August 2nd. Bands will be listed in the May through August Leisure Times brochure. Now you can plan your summer around the local fun your hometown offers!
