Golden Age Club
This club has been formed to enable active Louisa County seniors (age 55 or better) to meet new friends and explore shared interests. Meetings are informal and include interesting, informative and interactive programs of special relevance to seniors. Topics and activities are based on suggestions by members. The club is intended to provide opportunities for fun, fellowship, and helpful information. Recent meetings have included brief expert presentations and discussions of health and exercise, taxes and finances, Medicare, and gardening. Meetings are open to all Louisa County seniors and are held at 10:00 a.m. on the second Friday of each month in the Great Room at the Betty Queen Center at 522 Industrial Drive, Louisa. Newcomers are ALWAYS welcome! January 8th: Identity Theft. February 12th: Valentine Special. March 12th: JABA Services. April 9th: Senior Fitness. Golden Age Club also meets the 4th Friday of each month at various restaurants for lunch; call Parks and Recreation at 967-4420 for monthly locations. Become part of Louisa’s GAC!
