Guitar Lessons

Got a guitar and want to learn the basics? In this class you will learn all about the guitar, from how to choose the proper guitar for your needs, to learning the parts of the guitar and how they work. Then instructor Fred Koll will teach you basic guitar chords, how to form them, different strumming techniques, tunings, and simple pickings. At the end of the class session, you will be able to strum different songs and have the knowledge to determine if you would like to pursue further learning. Mr. Koll has over 20 years of guitar experience, including giving private lessons, and has played in many different bands. Bring your own guitar. This class is for beginners of all ages and does fill up, so register early.
