If you have not seen the incredible Hillwood Estate with its gorgeous mansion and magnificent gardens, then this is one trip you won’t want to miss! The estate was the last residence of Marjorie Merriweather Post, who purchased the 1926 Georgian-style mansion, and renovated it in the 1950’s. Our guided tour will highlight an extensive collection of 18th century French furnishings, tapestries, and the most comprehensive collection of Russian Imperial fine and decorative art. The gardens include over 4,000 azaleas, hundreds of rhododendron, along with dogwoods, crab-apples, cherries, magnolias, and redbud trees. After our tours, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Hillwood Cafe (choose menu when you register). This chartered bus trip will be one to remember! Registration deadline is March 6.
