Hi Everyone! I am Jane Shelhorse, the Director for Louisa County Parks and Recreation. I have been here since 2007 and I love it. I have been in the field of recreation since 1983, and have seen a lot of different recreation programs, and I can tell you the recreation opportunities we provide for the residents of Louisa are top notch! I am very proud of our department and the programs we offer. Recreation enhances peoples' lives and I truly believe that it is an important service that we provide the community. Family is very important to me, and when I'm not working, I'm spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren, dogs, and horses.
