LCPR Youth Baseball

All Parks and Recreation baseball leagues are designed to educate the players and teach them the basic fundamentals that will enable the natural progression to the next league of play. T-Ball and Junior League Ball have a registration deadline of May 7 and late registrations will only be accepted if uniforms have not been ordered. Regular practice will begin the week of May 31 and games will begin the week of June 14 at LCHS and LCMS ball fields. Game time is 6:30 p.m., the fee is $40 per player. A $5 sibling discount per player is available if more than one child from immediate family is playing. Volunteer Coaches Are Needed and there will be a coaches meeting on May 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the Betty Queen Center.

T-Ball T-Ball will be offered to boys and girls who are 4 and 5 years old as of July 31, 2010. Players who are 6 years old may also participate in this league if they have no prior league experience. T-Ball is a developmental league focusing on the fundamental skills of baseball that your child will need to progress to the next level of league play.

Junior League Ball Junior League Ball will be offered to boys and girls who are 6 years old as of July 31, 2010. Players who are 7 years old may also participate IF they did NOT participate in Little League play in the Spring of this year. Junior League Ball is the next step in developing the fundamental skills needed to progress to Pee Wee League play and allows coaches a better opportunity to provide instruction and support to the players.
