American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

This professional course offers American Red Cross certification in lifeguarding. Participants must be at least 15 years of age on or before the last scheduled class date and able to swim for 300 yards continuously. Then you must surface dive 7 to 10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object and return to surface, swim back to start with object and exit water within 1 minute 40 seconds. Swim test will be conducted on the first day of class. Participants MUST attend all classes, pass skills test, and pass all written work in order to receive certification. Class dates are: May 28, 29, 30 ( 5:30-9 p.m.), May 31 (8 a.m.-5 p.m.), and June 4, 5, and 6 (5:30 -9 p.m.) The fee for this class is $195. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis by payment received; only 10 people may attend this class. Get certified now!
