Louisa County Aquatic Facility
The pool will be open Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 from 11 AM – 5 PM. After that time the pool will we closed for the
season, except for the Pooch Plunge on September 14 from 1-3 PM.
530 Industrial Drive, Louisa, VA 23093. Pool phone: (540) 967-1085. The Louisa County Aquatic Facility is a three-pool outdoor complex
open to the public from the Saturday of Memorial Day through the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. During the season, the pool is open seven
days a week until school starts in mid-August, when it then changes to a reduced schedule of weekends only. Included is a junior Olympic
size competitive pool, an activity pool for games and exercise classes, and a toddler pool with a fountain sprinkler. The facility is the
home of the Louisa Gators Swim Team. Concession items are available and there are shade structures for when the temperatures heat up.
Daily swim admission may be purchased or discounted passes may be bought. Different rates apply for non-residents. Patrons must be
completely out of the facility by the advertised closing time.
The Louisa County Aquatic Facility is managed by Louisa County Parks and Recreation and questions, comments, and/or concerns should be
directed to our office at (540) 967-4420.
*Bathing suit is required for all swimmers, including infants. No cut-offs or thongs permitted.
*All youth 14 years of age and under must be accompanied by a paying adult 18 years of age or older to enter facility. Youth ages 6 years of age and under must be within arms reach of parent/guardian at all times.
*Diaper-aged children must wear tight fitting rubber pants or bathing suit over diaper or a “little swimmer”.
*To protect your health and that of other swimmers, you may not use the pool if you have an open wound or communicable disease (chicken pox, pink eye, poison ivy, etc.)
*Patrons may not bring food and beverages into pool facility. All food/candy/drink is to be consumed in designated areas only.
*No gum permitted on pool deck or in the water.
*Keep a close eye on your belongings. Louisa County Parks and Recreation is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
*Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside the pool facility.
*To prevent injuries, running and other dangerous activities are not permitted.
*No diving from pool side.
*Flotation devices, masks, snorkels, fins, or toys are permitted at lifeguard’s discretion.
*Hourly adult swim is for adults 18 years of age and older.
*No competitive breath-holding or prolonged underwater swimming permitted.
*No foul or abusive language permitted.
*No refunds due to inclement weather.
*Please shower before entering the pool.
*No alcoholic beverages are permitted on any County property.
*Aquatic staff is responsible for enforcing all pool rules; willful or repeated violators will be escorted from the premises.
