It’s that time of year again - so start brushing up on your vocal skills. Pull out your karaoke CDs and start practicing in front of your friends. Whether you sit in the audience and cheer on your favorite idol or get up on stage and do your thing, you won’t want to miss the great event we have planned for this year. This 5th Annual Louisa IDOL competition will be held on Saturday, March 27th. We are honored that the Louisa Performing Arts Center has allowed us to utilize their facility for this event. We are only accepting vocal entries and will crown one Louisa IDOL. So, start practicing all you singers! Make your plans now to join us and support our 5th Annual Louisa IDOL! Registration fee is $10 per participant. Age group categories are: 8 and under, 9 through 12, 13 through 17, and 18 and older. Registration deadline is March 17th. For those participating, there will be a brief rehearsal that Friday evening prior to the IDOL event. Louisa IDOL performances begin at 3:00 p.m. and should conclude around 8:00 p.m. Spectators will be charged an entry fee of $4 per adult, $2 for ages 3 through 16, and children 2 and under are free. Remember, vocal entries ONLY; solos, duets, and new this year, a group category. Don’t miss out on YOUR CHANCE TO BE A STAR!
