Pooch Plunge 2009 Second Annual Louisa County Parks and Recreation Pooch Plunge happened on Saturday, September 12 at the Louisa County Aquatic Facility. Local residents brought their furry, four-legged friends for their dip in our pools. It was a great way to end our second season and close the pools until next summer. All the people-friendly pets had a great time. We had 41 furry friends attend. We would like to send out a special thank you to our co-sponsors of the event: Louisa True Value Hardware, Maddox Feed Store, Louisa Humane Society, Sweet Creations, FurTernity, and Becky & Diesel's Dog Wash.
