Preschool Fun-Damentals
Join LCPR for this NEW and exciting preschool program which makes learning the fundamentals fun for kids. For three Mondays a month, Mrs. Lolita will instruct preschool-style learning fun at the Betty Queen Center. Studies show that children who attend preschool classes are more prepared for elementary school, not only with increased basic knowledge skills, but with improved social behavioral attributes as well. LCPR strives to Make It Happen in the lives of young children by offering quality programs that allow basic performance traits to be enhanced. Through fun and games and hands-on activities, your child will be exposed to letters of the alphabet, numbers and counting, colors and shapes, and many other preschool-related fundamentals. A parent should plan to attend and assist his/her child. Sign up your preschooler and join us for some Preschool Fun!

Our American History Fun-Damentals
Preschoolers ages 2 and a half through 5 will learn about all the famous people we celebrate in the winter time. We will discuss Martin Luther King Day, George Washington’s birthday, Abe Lincoln’s birthday, and Black History Month. We will even learn about Mr. Groundhog and his shadow, and let’s not forget about Valentine’s Day! So many exciting things to learn! Preschoolers will review letters and explore the weather of winter. The registration deadline is January 21.

Spring Time Fun-Damentals
Preschoolers ages 2 and a half through 5 will review letters and be introduced to the happenings of Spring. St. Patrick’s Day, the first day of Spring, and the changes in the weather will be topics for the little ones to learn. We will also learn the days of the week. Registration deadline is February 25.

April Showers Fun-Damentals
Preschoolers ages 2 and a half through 5 will continue their learning about Spring.We will learn about Easter and Earth Day, practice our numbers, review letters of the alphabet, and discover why this rainy weather helps the flowers grow. Registration deadline is April 1.

Summer Is Coming Fun-Damentals
Preschoolers ages 2 and a half through 5 will learn about Mother’s Day and Memorial Day and discuss some of the summer holidays like Father’s Day and Independence Day. We will review our letters and talk about the changes to come in the weather. At the last class, children will receive a Summertime Review Packet to practice their Fun-Damental skills during the summer break. The registration deadline is April 29.
