Summer Playground
All kids look forward to the summer break. But how many times over the summer do you hear your children say, "I'm bored!"? Our Summer Playground Program is the perfect solution for kids and parents alike! For two weeks in June and two weeks in July we will entertain your kids. We have arts and crafts, games, fitness activities, and special trips planned for children entering grades K through 6. Summer Playground is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Trevilians, Thomas Jefferson, and Jouett Elementary School from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon. If you live on a Summer School Bus Route, your child can even ride the school bus to Summer Playground and back home! Summer School Bus Route information will be available after June 10. Thursday field trips to area attractions are planned for the kids at no additional cost! These trips will return later than 12 noon, so parents must pick their child up at the school on trip dates; all children attending on Thursdays must go on the field trips. Let us entertain your kids with interesting things to do and fun trips to go on this summer!
