Winter 2012 TeenQuest Special Program

It's about learning. It's about being active. It's about having fun! TeenQuest is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while the Louisa County Public School system is on the alternate-day schedule for Middle and High School students. Middle School students who register for the program may ride their regular school bus with the High School students to the Middle School. From there they will be bussed to the Betty Queen Center for gym time and physical activities, doing homework, reading and computer time, video games, foosball and billiards, TV, and other activities. Supervised by Middle School teachers and LCPR staff, the students spend time each day at each activity center. At approximately 4:30 p.m. the students will re-board the bus back to the Middle School where they will join the High School students for the bus ride home. Breakfast and lunch for students are included. The cost for the program is $30 per week for the first child, $24 for the second child, and $15 for the third child from the same family, paid in advance. There is a $15 registration fee per child when first signing up. Registration fee and tuition are to be paid before the child attends the program. You may pick up a registration packet at the Middle School or the Parks and Recreation office, or download a packet by clicking on the link below. This program will continue as long as the Middle School is being shared by Middle and High School students. Space is limited!
