    The Betty Queen Center is available for walking during January through April, 2018 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:45 AM - 8:00 AM. These are the only times the gym is available for walking during these Winter and Spring months; however, these hours are subject to change.

  2. Billiards Club

    January 1, 2018, 9:00 AM - April 30, 2018, 3:00 PM @ Betty Queen Center - Teen Center

    Are you aged 21 or older and love playing billiards, but have no place to play? Come join the Cue Ball Billiards Club at the Betty Queen Center. The Teen Center is open most weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is just $10 for membership for January through April 2018. Play pool and spend time socializing with others who love the game. Hey ladies...this club is NOT just for men! Everyone is welcome. Why not give it a try?

  3. Sunday Billiards

    Billiards fans...you can now come to the Betty Queen Center on Sundays and play pool in the Teen Center from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. These Sunday Billiards cost $2 each time you attend and are open to the general public ages 21 and older, as well as current Club members.

  4. Louisa County Restaurant Week

    Louisa County Parks and Recreation (LCPRT) is bringing RESTAURANT WEEK back in 2018! The purpose of Restaurant Week is for local restaurants to partner with LCPRT to promote a week of their signature lunch and dinner specials at discounted/bundled prices. This is a great opportunity for both residents and visitors to check out the diverse selection of restaurants in Louisa County, and for local restaurants to showcase some of their best dishes! If YOU are excited about their 2018 Restaurant Week: TAG your favorite restaurant on Visit Louisa's Event Page and encourage them to join LCPRT’s Restaurant Week!   5. Line Dance Regional Workshop

    March 3, 2018, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM @ Betty Queen Center

    There will be a Regional Line Dance Workshop at the Betty Queen Center on Saturday, March 3rd. Dancin’ Dean LeClair will be the instructor and will teach participants already familiar with basic line dance steps all the newest line dances. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and classes will begin at 9 a.m. and will continue until 4:30 p.m. with a break at noon for lunch. Then the dance will be held from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Olivia Ray, LCPRT’s own Line Dance instructor is hosting this event. Participants must wear appropriate shoes for dancing. This event is for those dancers who would be considered high-beginner to intermediate in skill level. For additional information contact Olivia at scootnscoo@aol.com or (540) 832-7602.   6. Jessica's Story-time & Crafts

    Instructor Jessica Mehlhaff offers Usborne Books in this storytime and craft classes to children age 1 through 5. Let books open a world of possibilities to your young children. Exciting activity books, as well as neat fiction series, and internet-linked science and history stories will compete with the vast media that attracts children today. All materials for the project/craft AND a book to take home are included for each class. Registration deadlines are the Tuesday prior to Saturday class date.
